Dallas Nights Start Here

"This was my 1st time eating here and I highly enjoyed my time here. Originally, we had made a dinner reservation for 8 people, we added 2 guests last minute. Staff was very accommodating with 10 of us. All staff were friendly and prompt with our orders. Water was always refilled. The atmosphere was a moody ambience. Burger with fries: 5/5 Steak with Chimichurri: 3/5 Wings: 5/5 Macaroni: 3/5 (I loved how creamy it was, it just didn’t taste cheesy) Lemon Grass chicken: 3/5 Cauliflower fried rice: 5/5 Asparagus: 5/5 Chicken fried steak: 4.5/5 (one of the best I’ve ever had) Overall, all would eat here again. The vibes were very enjoyable, especially for a loud group!"

"Ordered the deviled eggs, charcuterie board, buttermilk biscuits and sausage, fried French toast, and chicken fried steak stack. We also ordered some cocktails. The deviled eggs were very bland. They were supposed to have hot sauce on them. Only 2 eggs had a small drizzle. The charcuterie board was simple, but everything meshed well. I would order it again. Personally, I do not like biscuits and gravy. Everyone else really liked it. The French toast, battered and fried, was not dense. The blueberry syrup was not overly sweet. I took a small bite, and then another, and then another. I really liked it. The chicken fried steak was hands down the best thing we ordered. They use Panko for the breading, and it works. The eggs well cooked well. The duck fat gravy was very tasty and creamy. The cfs is definitely in my top 3. The cocktails were ok. The mimosas were strong, but they were not consistent on taste. My bloody Mary was ok. I wished it had been spicy, even a little. I don't know what mix they used, but it was a bit bland. In their defense, we walked in right as they opened. Maybe they were caught off guard because the place was dead the entire time we were there. Maybe 2-3 other tables? It's a shame because brunch was fantastic. The restaurant has a lot of charm and beautiful. I love dimly lit places. I'm definitely coming back for dinner. The place was very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They need a little work on their drinks, but nothing that would keep me away."

"Caitlin and Max ‘a trillion’ are wonderful! Service and atmosphere are top tier, food and drinks are unmatched as well! Small quaint vibes where customers and drink/ food orders are known. Great for families as well with live music most nights. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and Chopin dry dirty martini. Extra special thanks to Caitlin for the wonderful service and atmosphere!!!!"

"Wonderful atmosphere! Drinks were great too. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much all the positive commentary I have. Our waiter was aloof and took absolutely forever for everything from refilling our water to giving us our check. The seafood linguine pasta was a disappointment. A friend ordered the snapper and commented that it was dry. 2 of the 4 meals ordered at the table were meh. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken and his friend enjoyed the halibut. Overall a very average experience which stinks because it is a cute neighborhood spot."
